Redhawk
Winery
Salem, Oregon
About the Winery | Grateful
Red Pinot Noir
Redhawk vineyard, first planted
in 1979, is on a small southeast facing slope perfectly suited for
growing richly flavored, spicy Pinot noir, Pinot Gris, and Chardonnay
grapes. These grapes, fermented in small lots, and given up to two
years aging in French oak barrels, consistently make highly-rated
estate wines with a full-flavored intensity not often found in Oregon
wines.
Since 2005, the winery is owned by John and Betty Pataccoli, who
strive to produce small quantities of outstanding yet reasonably
priced wines.
Northeast Wine Brokers is proud to offer the following Redhawk
wine in Connecticut:
2006 Grateful Red Pinot Noir
Scents
of caramel and earth lead to sweet cherry flavors with hints of
cola and toast. This is a medium bodied, fruit forward wine perfect
for easy sipping or pairing with any lighter dish. Always a Great
Value!
